I design necklaces and earrings that
are simple, asymmetrical and are elegantly designed. My jewelry
concept incorporates the use of fine wire, a few beads, stones,
crystals, and other natural gems. The culmination of my design
creates an illusion of floating gemstones against your skin. Another
venue I incorporate in my studio is hand-knit scarves and headbands.
I collect old costume jewelry, buttons, and blown glass pieces that I
add to all of my knitted items. Last and not least, I make brooches
with felt, fabric, and lace to add to purses, hats, scarves, and
anything that needs a funky touch. I will also compose custom pieces
using YOUR favorite stone, yarn, or something specific to you.
BIO:
Greetings! My name is Sarah Haske and I have been born and raised in beautiful Buena Vista, Colorado. I studied Kitchen and Bath Design at the Art Institute of Denver. Living in Buena Vista gives me the freedom to further my creativity, hobbies, and self-being. I enjoy hiking, camping, rafting, skiing, mining, and developing new art forms.
